As you can see, we had a fabulous time in Cancun--visiting Mayan ruins, swimming in the ocean, snorkeling in natural lagoons, eating plenty of fresh fish, searching for the perfect cup of horchata, and attempting to teach Gabby some Spanish so she could speak with the locals--it was a perfect escape.

Nothing short of a total 180* shift in climate and change of scenery, but it is good to be Home for the Holidays!

jealous. I love Cancun. I heard they don't let you hike Chichen Itza anymore...is that true?

Well, at least your temps probably aren't in the negativos. Try Idaho! Glad you had a good trip! And I'm wondering when its going to be and entire YaYa family trip to Mexico?!!!!

Looks like a great trip, as tropical vacations usually are! We are headed to Mazatlan early Sat. morning for a week, can't wait!

Megan! It is so fun to see your blog! Your daughter is gorgeous--I love the story about the uphill riding! It's wonderful to "see" you again--can you believe DC was almost 10 years ago? You guys were so wonderful to Scott and I there--THANK YOU!
